Printing on fiber based paper and working mostly in 8×10 and 11×14, I enjoy darkroom work and find that using film provides a warmth, depth and authenticity that digital cannot. Shooting mostly with a Yashica T-4 Super (no longer available), I focus on the landscape. Black and white feels timeless to me and has an ability to convey emotion, mood and atmosphere in a way that color cannot. Through my work I am able to express myself without having to speak.
