Michael Novara is a student of photography, originally from New York City, currently living in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He is primarily interested in documentary photography these days, and his work has recently been shown at the spring 2013 “Rituals” show at Garfield Artworks where he focused on the rituals associated with incarceration. Another of his photographs was part of the Carrie Furnaces: Contemporary Views exhibit this summer at the Silver Eye Center for Photography.
