Screenings to become an AAP artist member are held twice yearly – in spring and fall. Dues are $80 per year, and prorated ($40) if accepted in the fall. Only current AAP Artist Members have the opportunity to apply for every show AAP offers each year. In order to apply, you must be an artist age 18 or older working in any medium and you must reside or maintain a studio within 150 miles of downtown Pittsburgh.

Every other month, photographers Laura Petrilla and Brian Kaldorf host a themed show at MissLPhotography in Lawrenceville. October’s theme is Fear and Phobias. Don’t miss the chance to create work for what is sure to be an exciting show! Deadline (to be announced) will be in mid-September 2013 for a First Friday opening in October.
