Tenth Intervention music ensemble in New York City is looking for still and moving images dealing with Pittsburgh and themes of memory, history/Pittsburgh in the 1980s, childhood, and nostalgia. The theme is very open and could also just relate to Pittsburgh in general (i.e. the architecture and landscape of the city, historical views etc.) or could deal more generally with the themes of memory and nostalgia, but even better if it intersects both.
The ensemble is looking primarily for video/film and photographs but drawings and other 2D media will be considered. The visuals will accompany a musical performance in New York City by the ensemble Tenth Intervention. The concert is themed around the book The Mysteries of Pittsburgh. Any film/video should either be silent or work without sound.
All work should be emailed to Sally Bozzuto at fmoss3@gmail.com with the subject line “Submission for Mysteries of Pittsburgh Performance” Send a link or attach images or video. Feel free to email with questions.
